It's not that big a deal.
This stuff happens. Nothing was written in stone. We'll meet up some time later in the week. And now my evening is free to work on my own projects.
Namely cleaning the horrendous pile of squalor I call my room.

i can identify. Ha ha, this is like a female, american version of my blog ... except i leave the actual people out of it cos a whole bunch of folks from work have `discovered' mine.
He might really be that tired, or he might just be a total ass and found a better option. Guys suck.
When we were dating, my now husband used to wait until Friday evening to decide if he wanted to go out with me on Saturday in case something better came along. (Of course he never told me that then.)
The worst part is, he is a nice guy. Really. I swear. The point is, even nice guys are still guys and guys suck at times. Some more often than not.
Ugg. I have to clean my room, too. I came on-line to get away from it, but your post only reminded me of it.

Hey, I just re-read that and I made it sound like he was being a jerk and not really tired. If he works a lot, he probably is really tired. I don't know how old he is, but as you get older, you do really get so tired you don't want to go out. And by older, I mean late 20s.
Anyway, you won't know until you know, so don't stress over it. You really should have a talk with him about where you stand or you'll drive yourself nuts.
4WD: I don't advertise mine, so with any luck the people I talk about won't realize I'm spilling all our details. No names, no concrete places, and above all their initials aren't the ones I use.
Me: You're right guys are guys. I try so hard not to be that person who puts off making plans with one person in the hopes that who I want to make plans with comes through for me. But even I have been guilty of that. He has also said in the past that he tends to be more spontaneous with things he does. So I know I shouldn't take it so hard.
I don't advertise mine either. SOme people just found it... and eventually figured out who it was :)
